Stock Selector Job Summary Picking materials & creating kits for production jobs.
Responsibilities Pick materials to match pick tickets and bill of materials (Quality) Move material to correct staging and or Point of use locations in a safe & efficient manner (Safety) Assist in Inventory related functions. i.e. Stocking, cycle counting Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Empties trash daily and pickup workstation each shift. Practice 5S in maintaining straight neat and well identified stocking locations. Monitor production work centers for visual signals and, through self-initiative and short term planning, take appropriate corrective actions to prevent stockouts at each of the point of use locations. Move materials per requests to and from manufacturing cells. Pull orders for sub-contractors, warehouses, and etc... Job Requirements Expected to be able to lift workloads up to 25 lbs. Regular job duties will require certain levels of walking, reaching, and bending. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Having forklift driver's license or capable of passing forklift drivers' test. Ability to plan and execute multiple short duration tasks with minimal instruction.
