Job Summary As the Stock Room and Floor Supplies Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, from receiving and storing stock to ensuring adequate supplies are available on the sales floor. Your attention to detail and ability to streamline processes will contribute to the efficiency of our operations and the satisfaction of our customers.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of all stock and floor supplies. Implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize discrepancies. Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and identify any discrepancies or shortages. Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock and supplies. Coordinate with various departments to fulfill stock and supply requests in a timely manner. Monitor stock movements and analyze trends to forecast future inventory needs. Develop and maintain organized and efficient stock room and storage areas. Train and supervise stockroom staff to ensure adherence to procedures and best practices. Implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in inventory management. Qualifications: Previous experience in inventory management or stock control roles. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. Leadership and supervisory experience preferred. Good knowledge of food and inventory trends with a focus on operations P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable Possess accurate data-entry skills, computer skills, and be detailed oriented with great organizational skills Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet Serv Safe certified highly desirable Apply to Morrison Healthcare today!
