Overview: We are seeking a Stewarding Manager. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of stewarding management experience in a quality hotel with several hundred rooms, and knowledge of inventory procedures.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supervise and coordinate the work duties of the stewarding staff of approximately 12 to 15 employees on a daily basis Operate & achieve budgeted labor Inventory & cleaning supplies cost Conduct inventory of silver, glass, china & linen. Maintain adequate inventory levels and sufficient supplies. Work closely with Executive Chef & Banquet Manager concerning special arrangements. Perform duties of stewarding personnel as required. Qualifications: Two years related experience in a dishroom. Two years previous management experience. Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession. This includes experiential knowledge required for management of people and/or food and beverage management. Ability to make quick decisions in high stress situations. Excellent customer service skills. Pleasant and positive personality. Well organized. Ability to listen effectively, speaks, read and write English clearly to ascertain and document important information. Serve Safe Certification and State Sanitation Certification preferred. Compensation Range:The compensation for this position is $45,000.00/Yr. - $55,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
