Responsibilities
• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important, and appreciated• Answer questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store• Maintain knowledge of products to make suggestions and respond to customer inquiries• Collaborate with associates and promote teamwork to achieve company goals• Prepare beverage selections to recipe and standards• Tender transactions using company best practices• Offer product samples and inform customers of specials• Provide customers with fresh products and correct portion sizes• Recommend coffee shop items to customers• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise• Report product discrepancies and safety concerns to management• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
