Job summary
Perdue Foods is seeking a dynamic Staffing Recruiter to join their team in Bridgewater, VA.The Staffing Recruiter will be responsible for meeting and maintaining staffing levels for plant operations.This role involves developing and improving the recruiting process for hourly and salaried positions.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Identifying, developing, and implementing the recruiting process for hourly and salaried positions.• Establishing a working relationship with plant management and corporate customers to facilitate the interviewing process and hiring of qualified applicants.• Providing training and direction to ensure compliance with interviewing process and AAP regulations.• Creating innovative methods to improve the recruitment process and applicant experience.• Measuring and reporting results to management and achieving improvements in hiring ratio.• Forwarding all required paperwork to the Employment Process Administrator.• Conducting interviews and reference checks.• Collaborating with plant management and corporate customers to achieve staffing goals.• Maintaining knowledge of interview process laws and AAP requirements.• Reducing turnover through innovative workforce recruitment methods.• Planning and organizing multiple protocols and projects on schedule.• Analyzing and resolving problems at both strategic and functional levels.• Communicating effectively to all levels of the organization and providing excellent customer service.• Demonstrating a commitment to team performance and effective coaching.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.• Previous staffing role experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.• Advanced fluency in Spanish.• Two years of progressive HR experience with at least one year in Talent Acquisition.• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.• Knowledge of interview process laws and AAP requirements.• Proven track record of innovative recruitment methods and turnover reduction.• Ability to plan over a 1 to 3-year time span and multi-task effectively.• Strong analytical skills.• Commitment to team performance and effective coaching.• May require minimal travel to other facilities and plants.
