We're looking for an experienced, motivated Staff Technical Program Manager to oversee high visibility programs for our Security team and streamline our processes for building great, secure customer and merchant products. As our products scale in complexity to meet our accelerating business and expanding product lines, our Security practices need to scale with it. You will help our Security teams develop processes and frameworks for building quality software, while evaluating new technology developments to drive potential features and products. This role requires a combination of program management, technical understanding, and security expertise.What you'll doDrive complex, multi-disciplinary, and highly visible technical projects in service of our team's mission of expanding our consumer product suite and platform capabilitiesCoordinate across many information security teams, engineering teams and non-engineering stakeholders through the full project lifecycle to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the companyUnderstand information security frameworks, technical implementation at the architecture level and propose security/technical alternatives, ask questions that clarify priorities and push the team to be effective, and develop domain and technical knowledgeWork closely with our leads and partners in Security, Product, Engineering, Design, Infrastructure (Cloud Native), Operations and Analytics to map out strategies and roadmapsTrack progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status to upper management and project stakeholders, and engage the project teams to achieve goalsWhat we look forBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; advanced certifications such as CISSP or CISM is a plus8-10 years of proven experience managing information security programs, such as; risk assessments, vulnerability management, platform and product securityKnowledgeable about implementing  metrics to effectively manage and evaluate the progress and success of programsRemain up-to-date with the latest threat landscape and be aware of newvulnerabilities/risksthat could potentially impact the product/platformSkilled at working with diverse teams to plan strategies, experienced in successfully launching software projects, and excellent at communicating clearlyPassion and drive to change consumer finance for the betterObsesses over getting the details right but knows how to ship on timeWorking and driving strategic programs and building a remote friendly culture.Actively mentors and levels up team membersTrack record of successfully driving complex large technology applications and geographically distributed backend systems.Track record of strong stakeholder management with Infrastructure, Engineering, Product, Design, Analytics, and other cross-functional teams.Prior experience in FinTech, Payments or Commerce is a plusPay Grade - USA30Employees new to Affirm or promoted into a new role, typically begin in the min to mid range.USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year:Min: $162,400Mid: $203,000Max: $243,500USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year:Min: $146,100Mid: $182,700Max: $219,200#LI-Remote
