Then the Administrator Certification Bureau (ACB) within the Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) may be the perfect fit for  you.
CCLD Policy, Training and Quality Improvement Branch is currently accepting  applications for a Staff Services Manager II (SSM II) to oversee ACB. The Bureau  implements the administrator certification program for Children's Residential and Adult  and Senior Care administrators, and ensures overall compliance of Department  approved, third-party training vendors by conducting compliance reviews and providing  technical support in order to promote the health, safety and well-being of individuals in  care.  The Bureau works closely with other CCLD programs and community partners to  ensure certification and training programs are responsive to changes in the industry and serve the  CCLD mission.
Under the direction of the Assistant Branch Chief, the SSM II, oversees the  administration of work process and program functions related to, implementation and  ongoing maintenance of data systems, compliance oversight of third-party training  vendors, and all functions related to certifying administrators for Children' s Residential  and Adult and Senior Care Residential Facilities.

Working Conditions This work location is very convenient! The CDSS is located two blocks from the light rail and public transportation: within walking distance to the State Capitol, parks, restaurants, farmer's markets and the Golden 1 Arena. Our building has easy access to I-5, Highway 50, and Highway 80.

Describe your experience coaching employees and creating a  productive and equitable work environment with a hybrid workforce.
2. Describe a single experience that demonstrates your ability to  manage a complex multi-year project.
3. Describe a single experience where you used data and input from  subject matter experts, internal and community partners to improve a  business process.

Training and Development assignments may be considered based on the availability of eligible candidates and are subject to approval by the Hiring Authority prior to appointment. Training and Development assignments are temporary in nature and shall not exceed twenty-four (24) months.
Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview, but they must provide proof of residence in California prior to being eligible for an appointment.

Essential Qualifications
• Strong leadership and management team experience, demonstrating an ability to  create a clear vision, set goals and expectations, encourage initiative and  accountability at all levels.
• Demonstrated experience coaching employees and creating a work environment  that stimulates learning, encourages growth, and recognizes individual  achievements to ensure peak performance and quality customer service.
• Demonstrated experience using continuous improvement processes to ensure  business processes meet organizational needs.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex projects.
• Demonstrated experience building productive collaborative relationships with a  variety of internal and external partners including advocacy and industry  organizations, other state departments, internal leadership etc.

Desirable Qualifications
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced, high-pressure environment while  maintaining a calm and professional demeanor. Ability to effectively  establish priorities, assess the need for shifting priorities and act  accordingly.
• Familiarity with the community care licensing mission and programs  and/or the people who use community care.
• Familiarity with a variety of business software applications.
• Experience with application processing and or a business production environment.

Vanpool drivers and riders 100 percent reimbursement on the monthly fee, up to the monthly exclusion amount provided by the IRS.
