Staff Engineer - Water Resources

Davis & Floyd is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Engineer to join our Water Resources Team. We are a multi-disciplined firm that has been providing quality engineering services to our clients since 1954. This candidate will become part of a team that provides project consulting, site planning, design, and engineering services to a wide variety of clients. Duties include, but are not limited to the following tasks: Assisting in the design of water and wastewater distribution, collection, and treatment projects Performing production of a wide range of water resources engineering projects including studies, design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration services Assisting with feasibility studies and conceptual designs, development of probable cost of construction, and preparation of detailed engineering plans and specifications Researching solutions to project-specific challenges Performing field activities such as site investigations, construction observation, and infrastructure inventories Assisting with development of technical reports and memoranda Assisting in preparation of presentation material for client meetings and public review sessions Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required; Master's degree preferred Successful completion of the FE is preferred Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required Benefits: Competitive Wages High Deductible Health Plan - HSA with Company Contributions PPO Health with Low Deductible Zero Dollar Copay for Teladoc Flexible Schedule with Core Hours of 9am-4pm Mon-Th (Remaining Hours can be Flexible/Remote) Competitive Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay Profit Sharing Plan (company contributes regardless of employee's contribution) Professional Memberships Continuing Education and Licensure Reimbursement Straight Time Overtime or Key Performance Incentive Program
