Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Data Security Specialist to join our dynamic Engineering Security team. Reporting to the Director of Engineering Security and Compliance, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our company's valuable assets through innovative data protection strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement data security strategies aligned with company objectives and industry standards.
Serve as a subject matter expert in various areas of data security, including DLP, data classification, cloud data protection, and more.
Collaborate with business leaders to understand and address data security requirements for projects and initiatives.
Lead the configuration, implementation, and support of data security solutions such as CASB, DLP, and DSPM.
Define KPIs and KRIs for data governance and protection controls and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with data security standards.
Competencies:
Impact Analysis: Understand and assess the implications of changes across the enterprise.
Solution Design: Translate requirements into technically sound and cost-effective solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Security, with at least 5 years in data security and governance.
Hands-on experience with CASB or DLP solutions and cloud technologies.
Knowledge of industry compliances such as SOX, GLBA, and ISO 27001.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with technology implementation projects in areas such as DLP, PAM, CASB, and data privacy tools.
