Staff Accountant
A Staff Accountant is a key member of a bank's finance department. Staff Accountants ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and help drive informed business decisions.
Staff Accountant Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with an emphasis on accounting/finance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing budget, managerial, and ad hoc reports
In-depth daily, monthly, and as-needed analysis of select internal accounts
Manage the accounts payable process
* Process corporate credit card accounts
* Maintain vendor W9 files
* Process 1099 Tax Forms
Process invoices into accounts payable software
* Prepare disbursements
* Maintain accounts payable files
