Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience in accounting, with a strong foundation in GAAP and best practices. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in a fast-paced environment. Join our dynamic team in a remote capacity from anywhere in the U.S., but please note our core operating hours align with Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Perform month-end close procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making. Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and projects. Provide support during external audits and tax filings. Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance department. Utilize best practices and new technologies to help the department scale as the organization grows.
Qualifications:
Experience : One to three years as a staff accountant or similar role. Education : A bachelor's degree in accounting. Skills :  Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.   Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (comfortable with pivot tables and vlookups). Strong analytical skills with proficiency in performing variance analysis and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to data integrity and accuracy. Healthcare services experience is a plus. Prior experience with Sage Intacct is a plus. CPA or progress towards CPA certificate is a plus.
