Also responsible for all accounting associated with the regulatory and tax payments. This position will also participate in the month end close process including assisting with reconciliations and booking journal entries. This is a full-time, hybrid opening in our Mason, OH office.
What you will do: Maintain regulatory calendar of all required regulatory and sales and use tax filings. Complete sales tax filings each month. Complete some of the required regulatory filings. For those that need to be completed by others in the company coordinate with those individuals to ensure all filings are done on time. Maintain a deep understanding of new and existing regulations that may impact their organization's products and processes. Work with third party tax advisors to ensure all registrations required for state payroll tax are done. Complete balance sheet reconciliations and prepare monthly journal entries. Perform account analysis; investigate and resolve open items. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies. Support collection of data requests for management and external auditors. Assist with other financial and analytical projects as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred but not required. 3+ years of experience in an accounting role. Experience with sales tax filings and other regulatory filings. Must be advanced in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs. Must have advanced experience with pivot tables and using the vlookup formula in Excel. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate efficiently, escalate when needed, and problem-solve. Can master and quickly become proficient with the use of the company's accounting software systems. Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is a plus. Questions about this opening? Contact us at
