Responsibilities: Overall responsibility is to support the accounting needs for several communities Performs accounts payable functions for each community such as processing payments, adjustments, and researching and resolving discrepancies and unpaid invoices Oversee and collect all receipts, invoices, statements, etc. from department directors on a weekly basis Performs accounts receivable functions for each community such as processing statements, payments and adjustments, preparing bank deposits and monitoring customer's accounts for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities Perform detailed research where needed to resolve discrepancies Monitor on a daily and monthly basis performance against budget and takes appropriate action to ensure each community's overall profitability Qualifications: Minimum AA degree in accounting, finance, or business 3+ years of accounting experience Must be skilled in use of QuickBooks and Excel Spreadsheets Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP Experience in multiple locations a plus Sound organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced work environment in a friendly and professional manner Demonstrate exemplary attitude, work ethic, and unwavering integrity Strong verbal and written communication skills Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations What is in it for you?
