Staff Accountant

Our Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and processes, as well as excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and record day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports Manage fixed asset register and perform annual physical inventory count Assist in the preparation and filing of all applicable state and local taxes, such as Lifting and Sale/Use Tax Provide administrative and technical support to the accounting department Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA credentials preferred Proficient in accounting software, ERP, Microsoft Office Suite, and Avalara Experience in the transportation or logistics industries Benefits Competitive base salary ($80,000-$100,000)
