The Staff Accountant will handle tasks such as processing Accounts Payable invoices into the general ledger with a focus on ensuring accurate coding, recording diverse journal entries, preparing bank account reconciliations, and generating adhoc reports.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Input Accounts Payable invoices into the ERP system and ensure all invoices are properly coded, authorized and are processed timely.
Reconcile general ledgers, process journal entries, and assist with the preparation of financial statements
Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents. Verify and analyze business records, transactions, and procedures
Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliation for assigned general ledger accounts and balance sheets
Prepare schedules for reviews and year-end audit for independent external auditors.
Research issues, clarify information, and prepare supporting data
Prepare schedules and file sales/use and excise taxes
Other related duties as assigned.
Shift: Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred but not required
Experience–2+ years of accounting experience
Must be able to use the ERP system and have PowerPoint, MS Word and Excel skills.

Pay Details: $40.00 per hour
