Staff Accountant

Our client is a midsize Gov Con looking to expand their Accounting Department. They are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join their team!
This is a hybrid role based in Harford County, MD.
Deltek Costpoint experience is required. 
Responsibilities: Responsible for the general financial accounting and reporting activities of the organization. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including journal entries and monthly reconciliations Assist with financial statement audit process Assist with preparation of financial statements and footnotes Assist with financial, planning and analysis schedules Collaborate with manager and controller to ensure a complete and accurate month-end close Maintain accurate process and procedures for all reports and tasks Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management.
