Responsibilities
• Prepare and book journal entries and execute month-end close related tasks• Prepare account analyses and reconciliations and communicate findings• Research reconciling items and provide resolution• Review accounting guidance and apply to business transactions• Maintain documentation and supporting schedules• Send business reports to internal users• Assist in developing annual business plans and monthly forecasts• Support internal and external audit processes• Identify and implement process improvements• Participate in business initiatives and special projects
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of accounting experience or HS Diploma/GED and 5+ years of accounting experience• Detail-oriented and process-oriented mindset• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills• Excellent communication and time management skills• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other office applications• Up to 10% travel as needed• Must pass a background and drug test
