StampTech Fasteners TM Division Description: The ITW StampTech Fastener Division serves the major OEMs and Tier suppliers in the North American automotive market.? Job Description The Hand Assembly/Produx Line Lead will be responsible for assisting team members with sorting issues, quality issues and is involved in inventory control of WIP and finished goods. Tasks include, but not limited to: data collection for product, setup, adjust and operate Arbor press equipment, sorting and inspecting product. This position also has a combination of product handling and forklift operating duties to stack, transport, and store work-in-process and finished goods.
Key Responsibilities Understands, follows, and enforces all established safety, health and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practices Conduct training of new employees and coach existing employees Assign work to employees and ensure it is executed in a timely manner Complete production log sheets, relocation log sheets, and computer entries Maintain current department inventory Data entry tasks as assigned Meet shift production goals set forth by Manager Operate machines Pull/move/load component parts from and to inventory using a stand-up forklift Generate stock labels Weigh finished goods Set-up piece count scales Participates in Layered Process Audits Contributes to team effort by focusing on continuous improvement and success for the entire team All other duties as assigned by manager Qualifications Minimum Qualifications /Requirements High school diploma or equivalent along with 2 years of manufacturing experience Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Effectively communicate in a professional demeanor when dealing with the public or any level of employees Demonstrate good problem-solving skills and possess communication skills.
