St Shift Flour Mill Assistant Operator

work 11 hours days and have 3-day weekends! Barrett Petfood Innovations?is a family owned and operated premium pet food manufacturer. We are currently hiring for an Assistant Mill Operator . The Assistant Mill Operator is responsible for assisting in activities needed to combine multiple raw ingredients into flour in a non-climate-controlled environment. 
Objective: Provide the highest quality product with the least amount of waste while milling the ingredients into flour to be used for kibble production. 
Job Duties, Essential Functions: This position is responsible for frequent monitoring and adjustment of multiple variable controls to ensure proper operation of the flour mill and warehouse 
Maintain product specification in accordance with the standards 
Hip with Daily setup and operation of the mill according to published parameters
Ensure proper ingredient weights, materials, and labeling as required 
Assist with training new operators  
Report, document, and repair any discrepancies found within your work area 
Conduct quality checks to ensure quality specifications are being met 
Complete all quality assurance documentation and mill parameter documentation 
Promptly relay information to Mill Manager and Leads regarding problems, safety concerns, or suggestions. 
Job Requirements : 
Willing and able to lift up to 75 lbs 
Ability to efficiently facilitate shift to shift communication
Able to work with a team and independently 
Must be able to use forklift and boom lift
CDL is a plus 
Proficient in computer skills including email 
Work in an uncontrolled cold/hot dusty environment 
Hours: 
Monday - Thursday: 6am - 5pm
