Role Summary:
As the Senior Vice President and CFO for North America, you will lead our financial strategies and operations across the region. You will work closely with the commercial organization and other management units to drive financial success and support business objectives. Reporting to the Global CFO, your insights will be vital for the strategic decisions of our finance function. You will also partner with the Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations in North America to ensure a unified approach to financial and strategic market planning, aiming for growth and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's growth objectives. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring for North American operations.
Risk Management and Compliance: Lead the US accounting team, ensuring efficiency and compliance with tax and regulatory standards. Establish robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
Team Development: Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Strategic Initiatives: Evaluate financial implications of strategic decisions, supporting business units and projects, especially in finance integration for US acquisitions.
Innovation: Spearhead digital transformation in finance, embracing technology to enhance operational efficiency and insights.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Relevant professional certifications (CPA, CFA) are desirable.
At least 15 years of progressive experience in finance, with a preference for backgrounds in the medical device and diagnostics industry.
Demonstrated strategic financial leadership and business partnering skills.
Experience in multinational and multicultural settings.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
Fluent in English; additional language skills are a bonus.
