Sr. Strategy & Business Development Analyst Location Irvine, CA (Oak Creek/Irvine Valley College area) : Description The Sr. Strategy and Business Development Analyst works independently and is responsible for the analysis of strategically adjacent new markets, the implementation of the strategic planning process through collaboration with the company executive leadership team and board of directors and supporting the execution of M&A deal diligence and integration. Responsibilities Research clinical literature to support new market analysis. Create market and financial models to inform recommendations. Incorporate competitive and environmental analysis to evaluate macro business trends. Analyze new markets by participating in cross-functional team efforts to assess the attractiveness of new markets. Formulate recommendations through both qualitative and quantitative deep dives and aligned with senior leadership. Conduct robust, primary, and secondary analysis to structure strategic recommendations that drive business decisions. Support business development activities through tactical support for a live M&A process including ownership of due diligence work streams. Strategic planning; creating a 3-5-year roadmap through analysis of internal and external business drivers by partnering with senior leadership and board of directors. Other duties assigned, as necessary. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Biomedical/Clinical Science, Engineering, or Data Science or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience working in a top healthcare management consulting firm, investment bank, equity research or private equity/venture capital firm OR medical device company in strategy, business development, or marketing. A team oriented and collaborative attitude. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail. Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to summarize complex data for different audiences. Demonstrated project leadership ability with an entrepreneurial work ethic.
