The Partner Integration Engineer position supports technical collaboration and partnership product development under Dexcom's partnership programs.Dexcom's partnership products, including data access modes like the Dexcom API and Partner SDK, are designed to enable Dexcom's partners to develop their own great diabetes devices and software powered by Dexcom CGM data. Partnerships are supported by a dedicated cross-functional team that spans many Dexcom departments. The Partner Integration Engineer is part of that cross-functional team, serving as a critical interface between Dexcom and our partners. Where you come in:You will beaccountable for ensuring that our partners' technical needs are met by our partnership products.You will serve as our partners' first point of contact for all technical aspects of interfaces with partnership products, consistently engaging the partner organization in identifying and implementing actions related to integrating partnership products into partner system design.You willsupport the resolution of technical issues during partners' adoption and integration of partnership products.You will communicate issues arising from partners adopting Dexcom's partnership products into their solutions to drive partnership product development and improve effectiveness.You will disseminate partnership product functions and features to partners, work to understand partners' solutions, recommend the right Dexcom partnership products, and identify and anticipate partners' technical needs and obstacles to implementation.You will collaborate with Product Managers and Feature Owners to translate partners' needs to requirements, work with Program/Project Managers to ensure pull-through into sprint-planning, and coordinate closely with account managers for targeted partner accounts.You will identify competitive positioning opportunities based on partner feedback, review and report technical deficiencies/obstacles affecting partnership product adoption, and provide guidance to product managers for work-around or product revisions to enhance short- and long-term results.You will design and utilize internal test infrastructure to ensure partner integrations meet technical, performance, safety, and cyber requirements.You will advocate for Partners' needs to Dexcom internal teams and leadership.What makes you successful:You possess exceptional communication skills, are comfortable interacting with multiple people and teams, and have a strong sense for appropriate and varied messaging for internal vs. external/partner communications.You have previously worked with partners to bring collaborative products to market. You are an expert at native mobile app (especially iOS) AND back-end development including integrating APIs across multiple platforms, OAuth, REST, and streaming (webhook) integrations.You have significant experience developing software requirements and designing/executing test protocols.You have significant experience troubleshooting interoperability issues.You have some experience with Bluetooth Low Energy protocol and/or firmware design philosophies/language. You have experience or interest in the software product development process for medical devices (esp. diabetes-related), particularly working in a design control environment.You have experience with Web Traffic and other analytics tools.
