In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on our NEW Zscaler Business Insights product. Business Insights is an Emerging Product to explore how we might use Zscaler's data to create new products and features around adjacent use cases. Responsibilities:Provide technical leadership to the team to deliver impactful milestones for product deliveries. Develop and uphold a high standard of software engineering to provide the highest standard of reliability and availability.Innovate and experiment with various techniques to improve the system both in performance and functionalities.Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of major software deliverables. Proactively look into the cross functional dependencies and provide solutions. Implement and promote engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration to ensure high-quality software delivery.Define and implement engineering productivity best practices for test, automation, CI/CD and service debug-ability and telemetry.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvementActively contribute to recruiting, mentoring and developing engineering talent providing guidance and support to enhance individual and team performanceYou will be responsible for product features related to data transformations, enrichment and analytics, and seize every opportunity to refactor code in the interests of maintainability and reusabilityProvide technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers and bring out the best in themQualifications:10+ years of software development experienceExpert level technical knowledge and experience in Java, Concurrency and Distributed Computing.Experience in building high performance, scalable web servicesExperience in Big Data integration via Hadoop, strong knowledge in SQL and ELTExperience developing micro services and API'sExperience in Data Engineering and analytics systems and services with working knowledge of Kakfa, Redis, Kubernettes and Cloud data platforms like Azure, AWS, Google. Proficiency with Maven (preferred) or Gradle build and dependency management systems.Experience in building high performance data analytics services. Metrics driven development experience and experience using metrics systems like Grafana, Prometheus, etcStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Experience with agile development methodologies and a commitment to fostering an agile culture.Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to drive technical strategy and make sound architectural decisionsBS Computer Science or Equivalent#LI-AZ2
