Sr Staff Accountant

We are currently seeking an experienced Sr Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of accounting principles and processes, as well as experience with audit and tax processes.
The successful applicant will be expected to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, provide analytical support, and ensure compliance with GAAP. This individual should also have experience with Dynamics 365 and the ability to research complex accounting issues.
Position Overview:
Perform technical accounting research, document positions, and advise leadership on complex accounting issues. Prepare financial statements and other management reports. Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement. Maintain internal control systems and procedures. Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and footnote disclosures. Participate in the quarterly and year-end closing process. Work with external auditors throughout the audit process. Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Thorough knowledge of GAAP and audit and tax processes. Experience with Dynamics 365. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. CPA designation (nice to have).
