This person will work on a team supporting Salesforce and related systems used through the entire customer's lifecycle. We use Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience (Community) Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, FinancialForce PSA, and Gainsight. If you have some developer skills or even just aspirations, this position has a lot of potential to cross over into writing and maintaining some code.This role can be located in Salt Lake City or may work remotely.What you will be doing: Effectively scope and prioritize business requirements from key stakeholders and develop solutions in Salesforce that meet their direct needsBreak down complex projects into chunks, then design & execute against a work plan communicating deliverables regularly and avoiding preventable fire drillsBuild efficient, robust processes and scalable systems for a fast-growing, continuously changing organizationUnderstand and be able to communicate technical information to non-technical business-focused leadersOwn, document, and be expert in processes, objects, and automations related to SalesforcePartner with and influence others well for cross-team initiativesProactively offer best practice advice and recommendations, often extending beyond Salesforce to topics around overall systems architecture and CRM best practicesMonitor systems and respond quickly to problems, outages, or other usability concernsWhat you will need to know/have: 3+ years of Salesforce Admin experienceMUST be proficient with Salesforce CPQStrong competency with Salesforce automations, including building flows, process builders, workflow rules, and formula fieldsRelevant Salesforce certifications (Administrator, App Builder) preferredIn-depth understanding of Salesforce permissions, roles and profiles, org-wide defaults, and sharings setsFinancialForce PSA, and/or Gainsight is preferedStrong stakeholder management skills, ability to foster good business relationships and collaborate with business leads and stakeholdersRelentless focus on doing what's right for the business and a willingness to take on the tough challenges to support growth with a roll-up your sleeves mentalityStrong communication skills, both written and verbal in English, with the ability to create and deliver technical presentations that explain complex subjects to non-technical end usersStrong organization and project management skillsDesire to continue learning additional systems and platformsExperience with Marketo and/or Outreach a plusApex and/or LWC skills are a plusGet in on all the awesome at Instructure!
