Sr. Project Manager
(
owner's side
) to manage
ground-up, multifamily
projects from start to finish, directly supervising outside GC's.

150+ properties and 22,000+ units across 25 states . They specialize in
affordable, workforce, mixed-use and senior living
communities.
Position can be based remotely anywhere near
Denver
or near major airports in CO - traveling to projects as needed. Reports to the
SVP of Construction .
Responsibilities
Assist precon with process, design, contracts, schedules, scope, timelines, costs, long lead time items and GC evaluation/selection.
Manage job start-up and schedule planning through project completion and closeout.
Challenge internal/external project team to implement cost and time-saving measures.
Lead schedule reviews, weekly meetings (OAC's), GC meetings.
Obtain internal approvals for all change orders; process change orders with subs and GC.
Lead monthly reviews of project updates, cost logs, and other activities with deal team.
Forecast project cost reports.
Implement/monitor project management tools on a regular basis.
Design/implement corporate procedures and systems.
Post-construction: ensure timely closeout, punch list, complete lien waiver (internal), lender requirements, and resolve warranty issues.
Design/implements corporate procedures and systems using Deal Path.
Establish positive relationships with leadership, construction team, development teams, consultants/architect/engineers, contractors, finance partners, and governmental agencies.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, engineering, or related field.
Knowledge of scheduling/project management software.
Experience with multiple construction types and styles in multifamily.
Knowledge of Microsoft software applications.
Thorough knowledge of trade activities through subcontractor or self-performance.
Experience in scheduling, estimating, and pre-construction processes and procedures.
Understanding of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and trades required for successful completion.
