Sr. Production Manager

Position Overview: The Sr. Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the production operations of a food manufacturing facility. This includes supervising personnel, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and working closely with other departments to meet production goals. The Sr. Production Manager must be able to effectively coordinate and manage resources, while maintaining a high level of quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate production activities, ensuring that production targets are met on time and within budget. Develop and implement production plans that adhere to food safety regulations and meet quality standards. Monitor personnel and equipment performance to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies. Supervise and motivate production staff, ensuring that safety procedures are followed and production goals are met. Conduct regular meetings with personnel to discuss production performance and goals. Develop and implement training programs for personnel to ensure efficient and safe operations. Manage inventory and materials, ensuring that supplies are adequate. Work with other departments to ensure that production goals are met. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Food Science or related field. 5+ years of experience in food production management. Experience in food safety regulations and quality assurance. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate personnel. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
