Summary Operating at a journeyman's level, autonomously performs service work and preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of complex specialized building systems such as mechanical, electrical / electronic, hydraulics, carpentry and/or machine servicing. Key Job Responsibilities Performs and oversees work orders for complex preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems at a journeyman's level. Determines the nature of the problem and ensures that repairs at a journeyman's level are completed in a timely and quality manner. Performs and guides the maintenance of machinery incidental to system operations at a journeyman's level of expertise. Physical Requirements Occasional work performed outdoors. Ability to react quickly to emergency situations. Occasional travel to other locations. The physical activities of this position may include squatting, bending, twisting, crawling, climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
