As our Sr.. IT Specialist, Technical Documentation, you will…Be responsible for building and maintaining the IT documentation processes and procedures; as well as overseeing the day-to-day tasks around support of training and communications documents for the IT team.Be Accountable and ResponsibleDevelop and maintain a robust IT documentation system that serves both internal IT operations and end-user IT needs.Collaborate with IT and other departments to create, refine, and standardize technical documentation, including but not limited to manuals, procedural guides, and reports.Work closely with the IT team to ensure documentation reflects current processes, practices, and systems.Manage the lifecycle of technical documentation, from initial creation to regular updates, keeping pace with the changes in the MERGE IT department.Manage and update the IT Knowledge Base/Wiki and other knowledge management platforms.Actively participate in the creation of training and educational materials, aligning with MERGE's culture of continuous learning and development.Manage the lifecycle of technical documentation, from initial creation to regular updates.Proactively suggest improvements and best practices for IT documentation and communication strategies.Ensure all written materials adhere to company branding and messaging guidelines.Become a resource for other MERGE departments to craft a process for managing and maintaining their technical documentation.These are the qualifications we're looking for5+ years' experience in IT support, with at least 2 years of experience  in technical writing or documentationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technical Writing, Communication, or a related field or equivalent experienceProficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe AcrobatExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detailAbility to distill complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentationFamiliarity with HTML, CSS, and documentation publishing software is a plus#LI-DP1#LI-HYBRID
