Together, we can transform healthcare. A Day in the LifeAs theSr. Industrial Engineering Manager, you will partner with the site leadership team to develop short- and long-term vision and lead cross-functional teams through execution of key programs for the Site andOperational Excellence function. You willestablishand maintain a site-wide culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence through policy deployment, tiered coaching, value stream excellence, improvement excellence and related operating mechanisms.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Lead team ofOpExengineers, Training Coordinators andOpExLeads. Coach, motivate and foster professional development of direct reports.Deploy the "One Best Way" (1BW)methodologysteps and tools thatestablishthe holistic operational excellence MPS program (Medtronic Performance System) at the site level which includes safety excellence,value stream excellence,zero loss culture, continuous skill development,quality excellence, improvement excellence, and maintenance excellence.Coach, educate, and build organizational capabilities as defined within?the Medtronic Performance System global operational excellence program.Partner with site cross-functional teams to develop and execute Lean Transformation initiatives.?Define, design,?and implement?continuous improvement programs to ensure programs are integrated vertically and horizontally across the organization.Establish andmaintaina site-wide culture of continuous improvement and install process excellence supports for program governance, project reviews, communications, training, certifications, and rewards.Establish a culture of programmatic savingsto deliver YOY COGs reduction.Facilitate and coach teamsthrough DMAICmethodologyto build strongproblem-solvingcapabilities.As defined by site size,attract,developandretaina high-performance technical staff.Must Have: Minimum RequirementsBachelors degree requiredMinimum of 7 years of Lean Sigma and Continuous Improvement Experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experienceNice to HaveExperience with Lean deployment and tier management.Solid understanding of Operations, Project Management, Lean Principles, Six Sigma, andfinancialacumen.?Medical device manufacturing experience.Ability to manage multiple projects.Proven skills working with cross-functional teams and presentation skills.Experience with the deployment of lean manufacturing.Ability to directly lead and/or coordinate high-impact process improvement projects.Experience with leading team (People Leadership).Certified Black Belt at a minimum.About MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
