Responsibilities
• Leads the employment function including interviewing and separation• Oversees employee files and HR records• Addresses employee relations concerns and provides input to management• Consults on return-to-work, light-duty, and corrective action issues• Leads performance management process, compensation, and benefit programs• Provides guidance on HR guidelines and monitors compliance• Monitors Affirmative Action goals and assists with compliance• Manages leave of absence and disability programs• Leads programs for positive employee relations• Ensures compliance with regulatory postings• Manages the unemployment process and referral of appealed decisions
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent combination of education and experience• Knowledge of HR regulations, practices, and techniques• PHR or SPHR certification preferred• Five years of HR experience required• Must possess necessary skills and abilities• Must be able to maintain confidentiality• Ability to work in a team environment• Proficient computer skills• Analytical, statistical, personal organization, and problem-solving skills• Able to work flexible shifts
