GCOM is looking for candidates, to fill a role of Sr. Financial Analyst , to join our GCOM Software Team located in Columbia, MD. The Sr. Financial Analyst position oversees and supervises the organization's financial planning and analysis functions. The main job is focusing on connecting and analyzing large, disparate data sets from a variety of sources to better understand business trends, increase consumer engagement and improve financial results.
Key Responsibilities: Manage financial operations for sales function, including pricing and bidding for new projects Support Product Development in establishing pricing methodologies and developing and maintaining product development budgets for SAAS offering(s) Oversee pricing model for all project related RFPs and extensions Assist in optimizing sales function through ongoing data analytics Assist on sales forecasting and budgeting processes Support sales and operation in optimizing project profitability Forecast & Budget IT Fixed Cost Projects & Application Support portfolio Support new product group in financial analysis including pricing and investment decisions. Liaise with multiple functions within Company Ad hoc analysis upon request Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field preferred. 6 - 8 Years of experience in Finance role 3 - 4 Years of experience in role that required financial reporting and analysis Advanced level Excel skills. Experience with Adaptive CPM or other similar reporting tools is expected. Experience supporting non-Financial, IT Project Management groups Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (or similar CRMs (e.g. Salesforce) a plus Advanced Excel Skills (Financial Modeling, Pivot Tables, Dashboarding) Hands-on attitude with strong management and leadership skills.
