Primary Skills: DataStage SSIS SSRs and SQL scripting We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. ETL Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Sr. ETL Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining our enterprise data integration solutions using tools such as DataStage SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) SSRs (SQL Server Reporting Services) and other relevant technologies.
Responsibilities: 1. Design and develop highperformance ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes using DataStage and SSIS.
2. Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
3. Develop and maintain data integration workflows mappings and scripts to ensure efficient and accurate data extraction transformation and loading.
4. Perform data profiling validation and cleansing activities to ensure data quality and integrity.
5. Optimize ETL processes for performance scalability and maintainability.
6. Conduct data analysis and troubleshoot datarelated issues providing timely and effective resolutions.
7. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate source systems with target data sources ensuring seamless data flow and integration.
8. Develop and maintain documentation related to ETL processes including technical specifications data mappings and data lineage.
9. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in ETL development and data integration technologies.
Requirements: 1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Sr. ETL Developer specifically with DataStage and SSIS.
3. Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting (e.g. shell scripting PowerShell).
4. Indepth knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data integration techniques.
5. Experience working with SSRs or other reporting and visualization tools.
6. Solid understanding of database systems data modeling and performance optimization.
7. Familiarity with data profiling data cleansing and data quality concepts.
8. Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
10. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
11. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality work.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Certification in DataStage SSIS or other relevant ETL tools.
2. Experience with other data integration technologies and frameworks.
3. Familiarity with cloudbased data platforms and tools (e.g. AWS Redshift Azure Data Factory).
4. Past govt client experience.
