Responsibilities: Lead and participate in the design and development of complex electrical hardware systems, including schematic capture, component selection, and PCB layout. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine system architecture, ensuring alignment with product requirements and objectives. Develop and oversee the creation of prototypes to validate and iterate upon design concepts. Establish comprehensive testing procedures and protocols to verify the functionality, performance, and safety of hardware systems. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test plans. Ensure that hardware designs meet all relevant industry standards and regulations. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, firmware engineers, and project managers, to drive successful project outcomes. Identify and address technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions. Qualifications: Proven management and leadership experience. Strong background in CAD design of circuits, modules, and processors. Design experience involving A/D, D/A, and microcontrollers. Experience in writing, scheduling, and cost estimating proposals. Aircraft interface experience. Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent work experience. Experience Desired: Experience with military environment, commercial aircraft, military aircraft, ground vehicles, or support equipment. FPGA experience.
