Responsibilities
• Managing PMs and working with executives on large electrical projects• Being responsible for projects from start to finish• Working with upper management to ensure job safety and completion• Developing and building strong teams for each project• Driving division profitability through effective project execution• Managing, mentoring, and developing a group• Reviewing overall contractual requirements for all projects• Ensuring schedule requirements are met for all projects• Interacting with the customer to validate expectations• Providing oversight for third-party construction firms
Requirements
• 5-10+ years of project management experience in electrical projects or experience as a PM looking to make the jump• Field experience coordinating with construction management• Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts• Ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects• Ability to run a profitable portfolio• Exceptional initiative, execution, and communication skills• Exceptional analytical, motivational, and leadership skills• Electrical engineering or Construction Management degrees strongly preferred• Journeyman or Master Electrician's license a plus
