Overview: As Senior Director of Operations, this position provides leadership and direction for Foot Locker's omni-channel distribution operations, ensures the safety of team members, provides oversight on the maintenance and upkeep of the facility and ensures that all programs are aligned with the strategic goals of the company.
Responsibilities: RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Design and implement overall operational strategy that aligns with Foot Locker's global supply chain strategy to deliver on customers and shareholders' expectations. Set strategic goals and KPIs for distribution center that support the global supply chain vision and strategy. Ownership of distribution center's P&L, operating budget and product inventory. Direct the development and implementation of plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and people designed to accommodate business demand. Benchmarks with other best-in-class retailers and innovates strategy and technologies to drive continuous improvement. Analyze data to determine appropriate actions needed to optimize results and directs leadership team to execute workflow and process improvement. Evaluates suppliers and negotiates contracts with vendors.  Direct oversight of various programs essential to supply chain production such as, training, safety, housekeeping, maintenance, inventory management, etc. Indirect leadership of cross-functional support teams including human resources, finance, payroll, information systems, process improvement. Drive proactive change management to all levels of the team impacted by process change. Build organizational capabilities, effectiveness, and succession through organizational development and people strategies. Leverage influence and persuasion to collaborate cross-functionally to drive initiatives involving multiple support groups. Lead and develop leaders to ensure they are building culture action plans that best align to our people strategies and business initiatives. Accountable for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and directs implementation of practices and policies to ensure compliance. Lead and execute best practices to promote team member engagement and enable a high-performing workforce to contribute to the company's strategic growth and business objectives. Role model behaviors aligned to a values based, customer-centric, high performing culture with an emphasis on embracing our competencies and delivering with subject matter expertise. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or related field preferred Minimum of 10 years combined experience in material handling, automation, manufacturing, supply chain, process improvement, and/or distribution in an omni-channel environment. Minimum of 4 years of planning, analytical, and/or reporting experience preferably in positions of increasing responsibility Experienced in managing large warehouse teams with a background in hiring, training, motivating, and resolving employee relations issues Possess detailed understanding of financial statements and resulting cost implications Demonstrated ability to own projects, think big and influence across all levels of an organization. Strong attention to detail, ability to produce high quality and accurate work products. Must be able to operate with sound reasoning and judgement coupled with a high level of resourcefulness Demonstrate structured thinking to solve problems and conduct root cause analysis Experienced in working with data to analyze root causes, implementing long term solutions and improve operational outcomes. Leadership experience with continuous improvement methodologies Experience with DC technology (WMS, OMS, TMS, LMS) Strong foundation of mathematical/analytical principles. LI-TH1
Benefits: The annual base salary range is $170000 - $210000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
