We are seeking a seasoned and empathetic Senior Director of Operational Excellence and Compliance to join our team and lead our hospice services with integrity and dedication.As the Senior Director of Operational Excellence and Compliance, you will be responsible for defining and executing growth strategies while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards of practice. You will lead the operational team in designing, delivering, and improving business operations, managing hospice services, and ensuring the highest quality of care.Our Sr Director, Operational Excellence and Compliance enjoy some notable benefits:Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 plus up to 20% bonus at targetCollaborative work environment where your contributions will be valued and recognizedFamily-oriented culture that values people and promotes work-life balanceGenerous PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision and 401(k) BenefitsAs a Sr Director, Operational Excellence and Compliance, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:Responsible for leading operational staff in delivering and improving business operations, including managing hospice services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.Manages financial performance, oversees reporting programs, audits, and software implementation.Ensures readiness for surveys, oversees P&L responsibilities, and serves as the primary liaison between the governing body and employees.Handles recruitment and retention of qualified employees and contractors as well as the ongoing assessment of their performance.Provides primary responsibility for achieving annual budget.Working with the CEO, Administrator, and leadership team:* Develops sound customer objectives and strategies, identifies and meets/exceeds customer expectations, maintains customer relationships in an ongoing effort to drive higher levels of customer satisfaction and ensures that appropriate action is taken to resolve identified customer concerns or complaints.Responsible for identifying key customer/employee issues and community trends that may impact the results of the area both financially and non-financially.A few must-haves for Sr Director, Operational Excellence and Compliance:Bachelor's degree in health services, business administration, management, nursing, public health, or other related discipline; advanced degree preferred.Experience working in California, with exposure to state employment and home care regulations.Clinical professional license required in at least one (1) state, preferred.Six (6) years of progressive advancement in business with managerial responsibilities and with at least four (4) years in home health and exposure to hospice.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Possesses knowledge, management and leadership experience in P&L, healthcare, post-acute care, reimbursement models, federal/state/local regulation.Why Work for Interim HealthCare Hospice?Founded in 1966, Interim HealthCare is the nation's first home care company and a leading franchise organization.
