Summary
Join our dynamic team at [Company] as a Senior Business Analytics Developer. In this role, you'll play a vital part in developing, enhancing, and supporting analytics and business reporting efforts. Working closely with our FP&A Analytics Systems Development team and the I/T Center of Excellence, you'll help shape data modeling for PowerBI consumption. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed data analysis to uncover insights, assess data quality, and guide decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with the Analytics Systems team to translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop sustainable, scalable dashboards using Power BI.
- Partner with stakeholders to transition Excel reports to enterprise-wide dashboards and address new business requirements.
- Maintain and manage Essbase data models/cubes and oversee data administration for Planning and Outlook processes.
- Present regular progress reports to team leaders and complete special analytics projects as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or related field, plus 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with SAP Business Intelligence Platform (Business Warehouse, Business Objects, or BPC) and SAP FI/CO modules.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, Dataiku, Oracle Essbase, SmartView, and planning/budgeting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project planning.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes in manufacturing companies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
- Mostly sedentary position with occasional movement within offices or buildings.
- Ability to lift light equipment or supplies.
- Work primarily in an office environment.
