As a Cloud Security Engineer with a SaaS specialization, you will assess and enhance the security of our SaaS applications, as well as safeguard our Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365) systems. *This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned Position Responsibilities and Duties: Assess, monitor, and enhance the security posture of our SAAS applications and cloud-based infrastructure. Conduct regular audits to identify security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations within the SAAS environment. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for addressing security gaps and improving overall security posture. Stay up to date on emerging SAAS security trends and technologies to proactively identify and address security risks. Assist in maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations related to SAAS security. Participate in incidents response and research resolution activities as needed. Design and implement security measures and controls for our Azure and M365 environments. Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident response plans. Monitor cloud environments for security incidents and lead remediation efforts. Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CISSP or CCSP preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 4 years focused on cloud posture management. In-depth knowledge of SaaS architecture, cloud computing concepts and SaaS security best practices. Strong knowledge of information security standards, baselines and assessments such as NIST SP800-53, CSF 2.0, CIS, etc. Demonstrated ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
