Your responsibilities will include overseeing SBU business plan content generation, earnings release deliverables, and cost reduction initiatives. You will serve as a strong change agent to ensure business plan data accuracy, alignment with overall SBU roadmap and business strategy.This role will be a part of the SBU Business Operations team that has a reputation for collaborative, proficient professionals that try to inject fun into our workday while taking great pride in achieving high performance!Data Owner responsible for data extraction/analysis/mining of SBU business plan related data (financial/non-financial details)Ensure data accuracy on SBU Quarterly and Yearly (fiscal) Business Planning/Board/Earning Reviews contentCoordinate with SBU Finance team on validation of all business plan/earnings data to be used for executive review sessionsPropose/review/brainstorm/implement process improvement/automation ideas for SBU Week9/Business Planning/Board/Earnings reviews (inclusive of tool improvements)Own creation of the business plan schedule along with identified process and finance dependencies and communicate to SBU teamsResponsible for active follow-ups/closure tied to Business Plan Reviews feedback and action itemsOwn the NPRR/MSS calculation process in partnership with identified SBU teamsLead review sessions to finalize department goals (Quarterly and Fiscal Year) and ensure alignment with SBU strategic goalsCollaborate with and lead cross functional team members from finance, procurement, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and supply chain organizations for cost related activities, including Design for Cost and Top 5 Flagship product reviews?Understand all cost related information for SBU products including BOM (bill of materials), NAND, DRAM and MVA (manufacturing value add) associated costs?Drive cost reduction/optimization idea generation sessions with SBU and cross functional team members?and track progress on those initiativesWork closely with engineering to understand the technical reasons we make design decisions and how those decisions impact our cost?Qualifications/Skills Requested:?Energetic, self-starting collaborator?Strong communication skills?Capable of presenting to Micron executives effectively?Proficient in Power Point and Excel?Good with digesting large amounts of data and turning it into information?Comfortable working with reporting platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or something similar)?8+ Years of experience in business operations or related capacity?A good understanding of the following functional areas:?Finance?Business Operations?Product Marketing?Engineering?Procurement?Supply Chain?Back-end manufacturing?Location :Boise, IdahoAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
