Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or directly related field and five (5) years of experience performing data analysis within the financial services industry in order to develop and maintain internal applications and workflows as well as drive business decisions. Experience must include: Executing all phases of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including: gathering requirements, analysis, design, development, unit testing, user acceptance, testing and production implementation; Using data and analytics reporting tools including Microsoft SQL Business Intelligence platform including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Service (SSAS), Tableau and Power BI; Architecting scalable platforms utilizing Agile methodologies; and Building and publishing Power BI Reports and Dashboards, various visualizations (such as Stacked/Clustered Bar Chart, Scatter chart, Donut Chart, Slicer, etc.) as well as maintaining existing Power BI reports and dashboards for analysis and decision making. Certifications required: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Azure Data Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals. Submit certifications upon applying.
Job Duties:
Performing data analysis and creation of large datasets; Produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Developing server-side scripting and API's via Python and C# and .Net frameworks to provide customized interface for users. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Conducting unit testing and troubleshooting; Evaluating and improving existing applications; Developing and updating application and workflow processes; Developing and managing business intelligence solutions for Commercial Credit Group; Utilizing Microsoft Azure data analytics platform to develop, deploy and manage interactive reports to improve business processes; Collaborating with team members for the purpose of collecting data and executing Commercial Credit Group's goals; Analyzing business requirements and processes and recommending them to the management and executives for implementation; Creating and maintaining documentation that includes the design, requirements and user manuals for the organization; Identifying the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability. Write complex SQL statements using joins, sub queries, correlated sub queries and CTE's; Strong experience in Stored Procedure/TSQL coding, Performance Tuning, and Query Optimization; Utilize data and analytics reporting tools including Microsoft SQL Business Intelligence platform including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Service (SSAS), Tableau and Power BI to create and maintain reports; Create and Maintain Data Visualizations that educate, informs and engages the business partners on key metrics and performance measures; Using expert level programming knowledge, relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management and data warehouse; Executing and overseeing full software development lifecycle (SDLC), gathering requirements, analysis, design, development, unit testing, user acceptance, testing and production implementation; and Architecting scalable platforms, utilizing Agile methodologies and knowledge of DevExpress and DevExtreme. 10% domestic travel for meetings required.
