Sr Associate Supply Chain Live What you will do Let's do this! Let's change the world! In this pivotal role, you will be supporting all aspects of manufacturing and supply planning, scheduling, and materials/sourcing management activities for the Development Supply Chain (DSC).
Responsibilities include: Review raw material requirements, usage, and inventory to determine procurement requirements.
Maintain current purchase orders and master data in SAP using current procurement information and in collaboration with Corporate Master Data group.
Manage all aspects of Raw Material Master Data to drive reduction in errors that impact process efficiency (e.g., vendor delivery and lead time)
Responsible for the coordination of logistics activities, regularly collaborate with internal and external clients, to optimize order management (e.g., order consolidation, order frequency, min order quantities etc.) and issue resolution.
Support the Supply Chain business process by identifying opportunities that will provide automation tools and efficiencies.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to drive decisions, and insights to support strategic decision making.
Ensure all work is completed with minimal disruption and in compliance with all cGMP guidelines and Amgen procedures
Apply standard Supply Chain and MRP planning principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
Under minimal supervision, perform work successfully completing operational objectives and improving existing systems and processes within scope of responsibility.
Prepare and communicate regular updates to key collaborators including senior management.
Requires being on call and having the ability to respond to business needs as necessary.
Knowledge/Experience within: MRP Planning or general planning experience
SAP planning / procurement experience
Strong analytical /problem-solving skills

Basic Qualifications: High school/GED + 4 years of Supply Chain or Business work experience OR
Associate's + 2 years of Supply Chain or Business work experience OR
Bachelor's + 6 months of Supply Chain or Business work experience OR
Master's
Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience with widely used planning and analytics applications such as SAP and Microsoft Excel.
2+ years of experience with SAP or equivalent planning software
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to drive decisions in complex and ambiguous situations.
Ability to communicate through multiple channels, leverage cross-functional network to obtain goals.
Good business acumen, high-level critical thinking, and strong analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to structure, pragmatically scope, and solve abstract and complex problems
Strong writing and presentation skills
Exhibits ability to maintain confidentiality
Capable of operating under pressure
Good working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and/or Spotfire or Tableau
