Senior Associate, Business Operations
Marketplace is in search of a Senior Associate, Business Operations to spearhead measurement and business operations across our emerging portfolio of owned and operated comparison shopping businesses.
Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of O&O Businesses, this pivotal role involves designing, launching, and optimizing multiple new business lines in the Health, Home, and Professional service categories. During the startup phase, the incumbent will wear many hats, establishing a robust foundation of data-driven operations and processes conducive to scalable growth.

Responsibilities:
1. Business Optimization: Gain insights into key performance metrics and drive optimizations based on data analysis. Collaborate across functions to implement changes, measure their impact, and leverage learnings to enhance KPI performance.


2. Measurement and Reporting: Partner with the SVP and Analytics team to develop effective performance reporting and optimization tools. Continuously refine reporting solutions to improve speed, accuracy, accessibility, and impact.
3. Business Operations: Develop project plans aligned with primary business objectives and key results. Maintain transparent communication on project progress, obstacles, and insights to ensure efficient project completion.
4. Financial Modeling and Prioritization: Utilize business and financial data to model opportunities, support data-driven decision-making, and allocate resources effectively. Set revenue and cost targets in collaboration with functional leads and the SVP.
Skills and Experience:
Must Have:
- 2-3 years of experience in an Analyst or Operations role, preferably in a large affiliate or performance marketing business.
- Proficiency in data manipulation tools such as MS Excel and Looker/Tableau. Experience collaborating with Data Engineers and Analytics leads to design and build measurement frameworks.
- Track record of working cross-functionally to understand performance and prioritize, execute optimizations.
- Startup or small business experience with a versatile skill set, resourcefulness, and comfort in ambiguous environments.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including data insights curation, problem resolution, and resource allocation decision-making.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Health, Home, or Professional Service and/or comparison marketplace business.
- Experience managing lead generation and sales programs in platforms such as Impact Radius, Commission Junction, and Leadspedia (or similar).
- Market sizing experience including TAM, SAM, and SOM research, customer, partner segmentation, and sizing.
- Proficiency in growth marketing tools for tracking and analyzing digital program performance such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and SEOclarity.
- SQL skills.
