Job Title: Sr. Application Developer Location: 100% Remote (EST/CST)
Duration: Fulltime Direct Hire J ob Description: The Application Developer is responsible for being a lead technical resources for junior developers and the development (coding) of programs/web services that support a business application. This position will develop highly maintainable software by anticipating future changes and providing code flexibility. The position takes on more complicated development efforts on a project and helps with development of the overall estimates for the programming effort. This position will comprehend all detailed requirements before starting to design or code the solution.
Minimum Requirements At least 7 years of programming experience in .NET C# MVC .NET Framework 4.5 WCF SQL Server Microservices Web API Entity Framework jQuery and UI toolsets such as Telerik Kendo UI and LINQ is required. Demonstrated proficiency in coding techniques adhering to best practices and industry standards. Experience in designing prototyping coding documenting and unit testing project solutions. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve production system issues. Strong skills in developing software according to published standards and design guidelines. Demonstrated respect for and value of diversity and the ability to work well in a team environment. Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems Management or equivalent job experience. Responsibilities Demonstrated ability to create system architecture designs and technical specifications using .NET C# MVC .NET Framework 4.5 WCF SQL Server Entity Framework jQuery and UI toolkits such as Telerik Kendo UI and LINQ. Collaborate effectively with the database administrator and SQL developer to ensure optimal SQL coding techniques and database design for performance. Experience with cloud architecture. Familiarity with Reporting in SSRS. Expertise in multitier web application design and knowledge of scaling techniques to support high volume growth. Proficient in coding according to written technical specifications for business requirements or complex problems. Create document and execute unit test plans scripts and test cases. Develop and maintain technical documentation using prescribed templates. Responsible for the deployment and publishing of new code on projects. Willingly accept additional assignments as needed. Provide technical recommendations based on expertise and experience. Willingness to upgrade skills by learning technologies beyond your traditional area of expertise. Willingness to participate in oncall support on a rotating basis. Availability for afterhours support as required.
