Position Overview: The primary responsibility of the Senior Analyst – Revenue Management is to assist the Revenue Management Leadership in executing the most optimal pricing decisions for all business segments. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth analysis of historical and current revenue performance, using data-driven insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine demand forecasts, considering factors such as seasonality, market trends, and special events. Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize revenue, occupancy, and average daily rate (ADR) while maintaining competitive positioning within the market. Manage room inventory and allocation, ensuring optimal availability for various distribution channels, including online travel agencies (OTAs), direct bookings, and group reservations. Monitor competitors' pricing strategies and market positioning to make proactive adjustments to our pricing and promotions. Provide data-driven recommendations to senior management on revenue optimization strategies, distribution channels, and market segmentation. Continuously assess and adjust room rates based on demand, booking pace, and market conditions to achieve revenue goals. Develop and maintain regular reports and performance metrics to track key revenue indicators and communicate results to relevant stakeholders. Utilize revenue management software and tools to automate and enhance revenue-related processes and decision-making. Increase efficiency by automating frequently used reports. Consolidate Revenue Management reporting into a standardized product for easy visualization and user access. Train analysts on how to create and maintain reports for Senior Management, including maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports, and various other ad hoc projects Create and maintain weekly and monthly forecasts. Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job. Performs other related duties as assigned. Additional Duties & Responsibilities: Company Standards of Conduct All Venetian Resort Team Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times. Team Members are required to observe the Company's standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities: Additional Duties & Responsibilities: Minimum Qualifications: 21 years of age. Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States. Bachelor of Science degree in a related technical field: Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or Engineering. Master's degree preferred. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and any certification or license, as required by law or policy. 2 years of experience in Revenue Management at a hotel or casino resort Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SQL required. Experience building dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or a similar BI platform is preferred. Working knowledge of LMS and ACSC preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience. Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements: Must be able to:
Lift or carry 20 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned. Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without reasonable accommodation. Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts. Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts. Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend, and kneel. Work in a fast-paced and busy environment. Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
