What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable and employee travel & expense. Responsibilities Demonstrates working knowledge of supplier contract or customer master set-up and maintenance process
Demonstrates a working knowledge of the database that supports the applications, and understands how the data elements impact customers
Applies knowledge and skills to a variety of activities
Works closely with IT on any enhancement initiatives
Works independently and develops hypotheses based on data analysis to drive process improvement and increase accuracy
Creates management reporting as necessary
Maintains statistics on key departmental metrics
Assists in problem-solving simple to complex supplier contract and/or customer master set-up and maintenance issues
Participates or Leads cross departmental LSS initiatives
Monitors business role compliance
Identifies and reports control gaps
Works with other resources to perform risk and control assessments
Maintains accurate and complete SOPs
Qualifications Bachelors degree preferred
2-4 years experience preferred
Strong communication skills
At least 1-year work experience in Pricing Services preferred
Strong communication and organization skills
Strong internal/external customer service skills
In-depth analytical skills to review large batches of information and research
High aptitude in working with Excel
Able to work independently and proactively in a time sensitive environment.
Effectively and professionally communicate with stakeholders.    
Demonstrates capabilities in building relationships with internal and external customers.
Ensures that customers have a positive experience; commits to meet or exceed customer expectations through consistent support.
Demonstrates deep expertise of supported client; collaborates with team to identify the drivers leading to business success.
Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of protocols, programs or deliverables; compares measurement results to standards and takes immediate action to close gaps identified.
