We are seeking a Senior Administrative Coordinator who will be responsible for a range of administrative duties in the Office of the Provost and Office of the Senior Vice President for Finance & Administration. The main responsibility is scheduling and managing the Vice Provost and Chief Risk Officer's (CRO) complex calendar. The coordinator will have familiarity with the inner workings of the office and will be trained to stand in for other team members in their absence. They will report to the Sr. Advisor (SA) to the CRO.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities Manage calendars by effectively prioritizing requests for meetings and resolving scheduling conflicts. Monitor shared email accounts; triaging and responding as appropriate in a timely manner. Draft, proofread, and/or edit correspondence, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and standardized formatting. Help develop and recommend administrative processes/procedures and communication systems to assure efficiency. Process reimbursements and other expenses for the Risk team. Prepare shopping carts in SAP for purchases. Compile meeting materials. Reserve meeting rooms and/or catering for special events. Maintain records as needed through electronic filing, retrieval, retention, storage, compilation, updating and destruction. Assist with daily operations of the unit. Support DCRO and SA to the CRO as availability permits. Other duties as assigned. Special Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and customer-service skills. Must have excellent proofreading and editing skills. Demonstrated ability to show good judgment in communicating issues that are sensitive and confidential. Detail oriented. Knowledge of SAP. Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to draft original correspondence. Ability to work independently. Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, set priorities and meet deadlines. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or graduation equivalent. Five years progressively responsible administrative experience. Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. Preferred Qualifications College Degree or college coursework. Starting Salary Range: $20.40-$28.00-$35.70 HRLY (Commensurate with experience)

JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.
