Job Responsibilities: Oversee the maintenance of accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Lead the preparation and analysis of complex financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Take charge of budgeting and forecasting processes, providing guidance and insight to junior staff. Conduct detailed reconciliations of bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Manage and supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including approval processes and vendor/customer relations. Effectively and proactively communicate with AR and AP managers, clarifying accounting requirements and priorities. Coordinate and manage the audit process, including liaising with external auditors and providing necessary documentation and explanations. Conduct regular audits of financial procedures to ensure adherence to company policies and regulations. Provide expert financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making processes. Collaborate closely with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for business initiatives. Stay up to date with changes in accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends, and implement necessary adjustments. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred. Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in accounting or finance roles, with progressive responsibilities. Thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and mentor junior staff. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
