Responsibilities
• Manage payroll, billing, receivables, payables, cash receipts, cash disbursements, and general ledger functions• Maintain internal controls for AR and AP• Produce monthly financial statements using Quickbooks Online• Ensure reconciliation of general ledger accounts to subsidiary records• Prepare monthly closing journal entries• Review reconciliations and follow-up on unusual items• Manage payroll, commission tracking, and processing• File tax forms including 1099s and IRS pension report• Oversee preparation of annual audit• Reconcile bank and investment accounts and prepare journal entries
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy• Advanced computer skills• QuickBooks Online experience mandatory• Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred• Proven knowledge of GAAP practices, standards, laws, and regulations• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team• 3+ years of experience in an accounting/bookkeeping role• Experience in book-keeping, payroll, and financial accounting
