Job Summary: Works with the performance team to educate olympic sport student-athletes on nutrition for optimum performance. Provides nutrition education and outreach to student-athletes, coaches, and staff. Provides individual nutrition counseling & educational services to student-athletes. Develops menus, works closely with food service staff to provide nutritionally appropriate meals. Provides team talks; cooking classes; nutrition education & intervention at meal times. Supervises appropriate staff. Communicates with athletic trainers, strength & conditioning coaches, sport coaches, physicians, & student-athletes. Reviews and evaluates current dietetics literature regarding proper nutrition for student-athletes. Provides oversight of the Sports Nutrition budget relating to fuel zones and assigned teams. Oversees staff. Maintains food safety standards for Federal, State & Local Food Safety Regulations. Team Travel as requested. There is currently more than one position open for the Sports Dietitian. Skills /Knowledge/Abilities: Registered Dietitian, BS Dietetics, MS Preferred, CSSD Preferred.

Required Related Experience: 2 yrs
Required License/Registration/Certification : Registered Dietitian, Food Manager Certification.
Preferred Education/Experience: BS Dietetics.
